Michael R. Laffer, D.O.

dr-michael-lafferDr. Michael Laffer, D.O., F.C.C.P., F.A.C.O.I. specializes in pulmonary diseases.

Dr. Laffer graduated from Wayne State University with his bachelor’s degree and from Des Moines University, formerly the Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, with his medical degree.  Following school, he completed an internship, internal medicine residency and pulmonary disease fellowship at Martin Place Hospital, now St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital.

Board certified in internal medicine and medical diseases of the chest, Dr. Laffer is a Fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians, an Associate Fellow of the American Thoracic Society and member of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, American Osteopathic Association, Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and Oakland County Osteopathic Society.

An avid lecturer to the community and other doctors, Dr. Laffer also serves as an educator at two schools: Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri.
